| Beginning Singers: | “Let’s start at the very beginning. A very good place to start!” You will learn about vocal pitch, breathing, putting expression into the music, timing, rhythm and much more. Exciting singing in any style must start with the fundamentals. |
| Technical Tune-ups for more experienced singers: | “The hills are alive with the sound of music” You’ve been singing solos or have sung in choirs for a while, but sometimes your voice just doesn’t want to do what you want. It gets wobbly on certain notes, or you can’t get enough breath for a long phrase. Maybe you’d love to sing the high notes but they’re too scary to try. Never fear – the correct exercises and some concentrated work on your part will make you glad you decided to try! |
| Choristers: | “And I say to myself – what a wonderful world” You want to sing in a choir because harmony is beautiful. If you don’t know what a time signature is, or if you're a tenor or an alto, then you belong in one of the small choral groups. You will learn where you should be singing in the choir, how to breathe properly, why vowels and pitch are so important, plus a lot more. Best of all, you’ll laugh a lot as you learn to sing! |
